About Me

The Bywater Blooms
Events Story

I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of handmade goods and the spirit of community. My journey began in a Welsh village where I spent countless hours exploring fields and collecting trinkets with my nan. While she and my aunt were busy knitting, I was dreaming of adventures and finding unique treasures.

That same creative spirit flourished when I started planning my wedding. My best friend and I decided to create everything by hand, from our invitations to the bouquets. We experimented with beads and feathers, eventually perfecting a style that was uniquely ours. This led to a new passion for crafting, and soon we were making delicate beaded snowflakes, animals, and suncatchers. While a health condition eventually made crafting too challenging for me, my love for handmade art never faded.

I found a new way to pursue my passion while working at a non-profit care home. I organized my first craft fair as a fundraiser and discovered how much I loved creating a space for crafters to showcase their work. For over seven years, I found immense joy in bringing artisans and communities together.

That experience inspired me to take a leap of faith. Now, as a full-time craft fair organizer, I’ve founded Bywater Blooms Events. Our mission is to celebrate local artisans and create unforgettable events where creativity can flourish. We believe in the power of handmade goods to transform lives, and I am proud to support talented crafters while building a business that allows me to support my family.
